Born in Petion-Ville on October 10,1929 He
joined the "Centre d'Art "in 1948 where he worked
under Cedor. Two years later,he left the Centre d " Art
"to join Price, Dorcely, Cedor, Nehemy and Pinchinnat at
the "Foyer Des Arts Plastiques". From a "Co-Founder",
he later became the Director of that institution. He was influenced
by the French painters Camille Corot and Manet.Like Xavier Amiama,
His paintings depicted the slums of Haiti, its poverty, despair
and Voodoo. His paintings are today coveted by collectors worldwide.
