Charles Andre Jean Baptiste (Carlos Jean
Baptiste)was born in Deschapelles,Haiti on August 16 ,1965.As a child
he attended the" College La Providence",then the Lycee Alexandre
Petion. Like the late Michelange Altidor,he studied under Saincilus
Ismael in the early eighties.He briefly attended the National School
For The Arts "ENARTS".Carlos is considered one of the best
Haitian Painters today.Carlos has won several prizes for his work including
the Petion-bolivar Contest in which his painting "Braceros "won
First Prize .He has exhibited in several countries in Europe and The
Americas. |
